APRIL FOOL’S DAY SOCIAL CAMPAIGN
Texas Pete is all about the drama, flavor, and exciting their loyal customers. We were challenged with boosting their social media engagement and website traffic, all while bringing the drama with something memorable for the fans.
We created a brand new product, Texas Pete Cologne, which was conveniently released on April Fool’s Day. What the hot sauce fans didn’t expect was that we would actually let them purchase the product with the help of promo code that made it free. The mico campaign met and exceeded expectations, resulting in over 72,000 impressions on facebook (56,000 of those being organic) and a 150% increase is website traffic from social media.
