Is your sweet tooth aching on Valentine’s Day? Do we have something for you.
We recently launched PartySweets.com, a retail site for our client, Hospitality Mints, of Boone, N.C. This company has quietly commandeered the pilot’s seat in the wrapped mints category, based on American-made quality and innovation. If you’ve ever received a mint at the end of your meal at a great restaurant, you’ve probably tasted that quality. They are the market leader in generic “Thank You” wrapped mints as well as leading the foodservice business in customized, branded mints. Now, restaurants are not only using their branded mints to leave a sweet taste in the mouths of their customers, but sharing their URLs, social media, catering and other value-added services.
PartySweets.com is the latest innovation targeting consumers who are more interested in uniquely capping off celebrations or thematic party events with a mint. Available in a variety of retailers, including Wal-Mart, PartySweets is the brand consumers turn to for everything from celebrating a birth in the family to a hula skirt mint for a Tiki-torched backyard blowout. The website now goes one step forward by not only offering a mint for sale, but as a destination for thematic party ideas. Tied to our social media spokeswoman, Miss Mints, who shares great party ideas and flashbacks to the Mad Men era where hospitality was number one, we are taking the convergence of trends in Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube to the next level in consumer engagement.
Hats off to Michael Holzworth and Kati Guy of Hospitality Mints for believing in taking their company to the next level by a quantum leap (you can meet Michael and learn more about the company by viewing this video we shot about the company). Likewise, congratulations to Lori DeVoti, Summer Stanley, Kristen Lawson, Dale Atkinson and others on the Creative Energy team for pushing hard for a client we love. Isn’t that the way it ought to be on Valentine’s Day?
